Would you like to savour the local cuisine while enjoying the view of the mountains? At our campsite in La Bourboule, the pleasure also comes from the plate! The La Marmotte campsite restaurant offers a tasty menu of Auvergne specialities, lovingly prepared and served in a family atmosphere.
Open only in the evenings during the summer, February and December 31st, and by reservation for groups of 10 or more the rest of the year, it embodies the warm, authentic spirit of the Puy-de-Dôme, which you’ll also find at our family campsite in La Bourboule. Let yourself be tempted by a convivial dinner or an atmospheric meal at our campsite with evening entertainment in the Puy-de-Dôme, overlooking the surrounding mountains in the heart of the Sancy massif and featuring local produce à la carte.
Restaurant La Marmotte: enjoy Puy-de-Dôme specialities
At the campsite restaurant, every dish tells a story… The story of the passionate producers we work with: Ferme de Chamablanc for goat’s cheese, GAEC des Estives for Saint-Nectaire, and Charles, a fish farmer in Saint-Sauves, for his delicious trout terrine.
Among the local dishes on the menu: truffade with cured ham, aligot sausage, Salers beef steak, burger with a choice of local cheeses (saint-nectaire, tome de chèvre from Ferme de Chamablanc), pounti auvergnat, charcuterie platter, 3-cheese salad, etc.
All accompanied by Auvergne wine, and, as a digestive, Abbey liqueur or the famous Potion du Bougnat.
Our campsite and restaurant in La Bourboule focuses on quality and proximity. The children’s menu, at €10, also offers gourmet dishes, but on a smaller scale: half-burger, truffade, aligot or chicken aiguillettes, followed by a scoop of ice cream or half a waffle.
For dessert, treat yourself to a delicious blueberry tart, waffles, homemade ice cream, seasonal fruit salad or chocolate coulant.
Finally, on Tuesday evenings (reservation required), don’t miss our themed meals: aligot, truffade, paella or barbecue evenings!

Bar with local drinks
The bar at our restaurant in La Bourboule is open every day during reception hours. It’s the perfect place to meet up with friends or family.
Come and discover a wide selection of beverages, most of them local, non-alcoholic (cocktails and non-alcoholic beers, fruit juices, soda, fruity syrups, local lemonade) and alcoholic (cocktails, local Auvergne beers, craft liqueurs…).
The campsite’s licence IV allows us to offer a wide choice of refreshments to suit all tastes, to be sipped on the terrace or in our panoramic room.
Snacking: Puy-de-Dôme to go!
For a snack or a more relaxed evening, we offer a range of snacks based on local, homemade products. Eight pizzas to choose from, appetizer boards or French fries: it’s simple, quick and always tasty. You can enjoy your snack on site, or take it away for an impromptu picnic in the mountains.
Please note that we can also deliver meals to your pitch (chalet, mobile home, camper van, caravan or tent pitch).

Group meals and half-board at La Bourboule restaurant
Are you coming as a group? Weddings, anniversaries, seminars, cousinhoods or sports clubs: our restaurant can adapt to your needs. We offer half-board or full-board formulas, with menus tailored to your budget and tastes. The panoramic dining room offers a warm and inviting setting for large tables, with nature as a backdrop. A moment of sharing over good food, in the heart of the Massif du Sancy!
The icing on the cake: our restaurant in La Bourboule lets you bring back the flavours of the Puy-de-Dôme in your suitcases, thanks to the sale of local products: liqueurs from the abbey (blueberry liqueurs, chestnut liqueurs), gentian, potion du bougnat and other by-products (Salers beef pâté, pastilles, marshmallows, meringues).
