Riverside camping
The Dordogne River, which rises at the foot of the Puy de Sancy, flows right by the campsite. Just a 10-minute walk from the campsite, it offers an idyllic setting for nature lovers, fishermen and families in search of peace and quiet.
In summer, you can soak your feet to cool off after a hike, observe the aquatic fauna or take a break at the water’s edge, lulled by the lapping of the river. You’ll find the Lac du Pré Cohadon just a 5-minute drive away, with its lovely lake tour; the Lac de la Tour d’Auvergne, a 20-minute drive away, is equipped and supervised in summer, perfect for a family day out with its sandy beach, playground and picnic tables; and the Lac de Chambon, with its water sports activities.
